SaltDogg designed this tailgate spreader to mount to a 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton, or 1-ton truck. It features a low-profile 8-cubic foot poly hopper that holds up to 600 pounds of material. A powder-coated carbon steel frame makes the unit extremely durable. A 1/2-horsepower, 12-volt dual-shaft gear motor powers this spreader. SaltDogg wires this motor directly to the in-cab variable speed controller.
They finish off this spreader by adding a 12-inch poly spinner into the base. This SaltDogg tailgate spreader is ideal for large-scale commercial use. Use it to spread bagged #1 rock salt on large parking lots, residential areas, or commercial properties. This spreader casts material up to 30 feet thanks to the 12-inch spinner. It mounts with a 2-inch class 4 hitch.
This hitch features patented horizontal and vertical adjustments. SaltDogg builds this spreader to last. The durable poly hopper and spinner are corrosion proof.
